Post Test Driving Lessons
It may interest you to know that driver education for young drivers in Bucks has just moved up to a level and offers a whole new dimension in young driver training.
Motorway driving tuition, when delivered by a professional driving instructor, used to be only available as part of Pass Plus lessons. That is no longer the case, as now you can do a motorway driving course with the Bucks County Council Get in Gear driver training course.
Motorway driver training is one of the modules built into Get in Gear, but unlike Pass Plus, it doesn’t go back over the same old groudn as covered during standard driving lessons. The motorway driving tuition, for example, covers the more advanced aspects of motorway driver training, but at a level that can be easily understood by young drivers. There is advanced driver training for other types of roads too.

In fact, we don’t like to refer to this as post test driving lessons at all, but rather favour the term, advanced driver education. The signs are already there, as Get in Gear means you are safer driving in Bucks, more so now than before Get in Gear began. Much of this can be attributed to better driver education, but not just by young drivers re–learning the basics over again. This driver education scheme teaches new skills that are not readily available from standard post test driving lessons. Advanced driver training for rural roads
As well as motorway driving tuition the course covers rural road driver training. Statistically, rural roads provide the kind of places where young drivers are most likely to be invovled in road collisions. Young drivers will very often crash their car on a bend, but that is because they have never been taught how to read a bend.
If a young driver cannot read a bend in the road, the result will often be that of trying to drive a bend too fast and from the wrong road position. For safer driving, the post test driving lessons as provided by Get in Gear will provide instruction in how to read a bend as a standard part of the driver training. This will do a lot for safer driving in Bucks.
Don’t just automatically go for Pass Plus, but take a look at Get in Gear. After all, it is the only truly effective young driver education in Bucks.
